New Update

Good Monday Saints of Christ,

It has been several months since we have sent an update of things happening at The River Church.

First I want to thank you for your prayers, support and patience as we wait, pray and seek the Lord in these days. At the church we are starting to see more and more people returning, yet many expecting to return to NORMAL. Well, NORMAL is just a setting on the washer/dryer. What I mean by that is change is constant, whether we like it or not.

Many want to stay comfortable, many want what it used to be!

Isaiah 43:19 "BEHOLD, I WILL do a new thing: now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert"

What is that New Thing?

Think about it? It is so easy to go back and pick up where we left off. The Israelites wanted to go back to Egypt ever time things got tough or they were confronted with a test. Yes, it is easy because we do not have to change!

BUT GOD, in the midst of the issue said, IT SHALL SPRING FORTH just like on Sunday the time sprung forward. You didn't stop it did you? Know you turned your clock forward so match what was going on. We to need to adjust our attitudes, our frame of minds, and even our schedule to match God's plan for tomorrow.

CHANGE IS EVIDENT, YES change is something that HAS TO HAPPEN IN OUR LIVES, it's have we react and embrace the change and the new thing God is about to do.

Expectation instead of doubt, fear, and anxiety.

TRUST HIM in the New Thing, Embrace the New Thing, and Encourage others in the New Thing.
